Since I was young, I have loved homes, real estate and everything design. I love how the right fabrics, textures, colors, patterns and lighting working in harmony can shape and pattern a room from a disfigured mess to a sanctuary. Home growing up was cozy, clean, lonely and chaotic. I longed to be home when I was gone and once I was there I couldn’t wait to leave. I always thought the answer was in a bigger house or a zip code change. It wasn’t until much later in life that I realized the reason I wanted to be there was because I hoped for a place where I and my family members could belong and matter. Honestly, authentically, without apology, rules or roles. Home wasn’t that place for me.

I believe, home is a place we are drawn to, it fosters healing, hope, healthy relationships, an abundance of grace, humility and patience. We can laugh when we want to, share our dreams, our deepest desires, hopes, wishes and fears without judgement or criticism. It is a place to be who God made us to be without pretending, performing or playing a role. Home is not where most of us were raised but I believe it is a place we long for. Now as a Mom of three small children, I want to create spaces that call us back to how God made us, living with our whole hearts, inviting us into his presence without judgment or rules or restrictions. I want that for my kids and for my clients. I once heard this quote  “To find your greatest calling you must find your greatest pain.” It is the gift of my pain that I am hoping to be able to use to help others create spaces that encourage the people that live in them. Strength to be who God created them to be and the courage to live it honestly. I would love to help you find your courage and your heart through the space you spend most of your time.
